RIMESSA Roscioli
Rimessa Roscioli (part of the Roscioli reality) is an informal space where you can taste some excellent wines and enjoy good hot or cold dishes mostly related to the Roman gastronomic tradition… Beef tartare, the poached egg with cream of beans, the spaghetti ajo, oil, chilli and sea urchins, black cod, the burrata. Leading the way, of course, is the wine cellar with acceptable labels and wines that can also be consumed by the glass and with the advice of knowledgeable staff.
For those who love wine or for those who want to discover it, there are wine club appointments with courses and tasting routes.
The restaurant has a dehors; inside, you will be welcomed in two rooms, with extensive social tables, shelves full of wines, and an almost open kitchen.

In the splendid Via Giulia, five minutes from home, an informal bistrò pays excellent attention to detail in the décor and kitchen. From here come dishes where tradition is interpreted in a more contemporary key. The wine list is impressive, and the staff is very courteous. Although the prices are not excessive, making a reservation is advisable; otherwise, you will likely not find a place. The restaurant is trendy for both aperitifs and dinner.

If you love beer, this is the temple of it. Impossible to find a better one. There are over 40 beers on tap and more than a hundred bottles, many from microbreweries. This place attracts young and old for its extraordinary range of beers and excellent food. It’s chaotic, with a few more reserved corners. The bar counter is fantastic, with dozens of beers on tap.

Sometimes you have to wait, especially in the evening, but burgers, fries, chicken, and vegetarian dishes are the best you can find. At lunchtime, you can also order excellent pasta dishes or meat.

As the name suggests, Collegio – Vini, Liquori & Cibo is wine, food and spirits. The menu ranges from traditional country dishes to more contemporary ones: Pasta e Fagioli con le cotiche, Gnocchi al Sugo, and as everywhere else, Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe, Amatriciana, Gricia, Ravioli con burrata, Gnocchi, and then the main courses with fish or meat dishes, as well as classic chopping boards with cold cuts and cheeses. GINGER Corte Laica
The Ginger Group has always paid special attention to healthy and sustainable cuisine. Ginger Corte Laica recently opened a 660-square-meter space inside a 17th-century palace on Via del Corso. It is the third restaurant after those in Via Borgognona (Spanish Steps) and Piazza Sant’Eustachio (Pantheon).
The menu is almost entirely plant-based and varies according to the season. It is made with local products, seasonal vegetables, exotic fruits, meat, and fish, and most of the products come from organic farming. Mostly, plant-based dishes follow a crudist line with salads, fruit salads, and centrifuges. But for omnivores, there are plenty of meat and fish dishes and the inevitable classics of Roman cuisine, charcuterie and cheese board. Ginger is a place to stop for gourmet breaks in the city’s heart, from breakfast to mid-morning aperitif through lunch, snack and evening aperitif to dinner. And where you can also enjoy a pizza or sip a cocktail.
