I really don’t know where to begin to describe our experience at La Mia Casa in Campo di Fiori. By now you’ve already looked at the photos and if you’re reading this review you’re probably wondering if this rental is too good to be true. Spoiler alert: It’s not. La Mia Casa is everything you’ve hoped it would be and more. It is a modern, stylish, unique take on Rome’s celebrated ‘La Dolce Vita’ as seen through the eyes of its consummate host, Cosimo Milone. Ive worked in the travel industry for over three decades and have stayed in my share of properties throughout the world – yet La Mia Casa is at the top of my list of favorites. You are surrounded by art and books in an apartment straight out of a Hollywood film – starring you. La Mia Casa is fully equipped and stocked with everything you need to make yourselves at home. We arrived to trays of sandwiches and fruits, snacks, everything you’d need to make a perfect espresso or a plain old cup of coffee. The rooms are all comfortable, bathrooms are luxurious and stocked with soaps, shampoos, etc. AND THAT ROOFDECK! We spent a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon out there listening to jazz from a nearby restaurant as we sipped Negronis. In the end, however, it is Cosimo’s attention to detail that makes La Mia Casa so special. I’ve already mentioned the art, books, snacks, etc but he was also so helpful in arranging transfers to and from the rental. He’s compiled three booklets of recommendations for restaurants, bars, places to shop. Although we tourists we felt like long-time residents thanks to him. The location is excellent. Campo di Fiori is lively with many shops, bars, restaurants and a great market. You’re close to Trastevere, a 35 minute walk to Vatican City, 10 minutes to Piazza Navona, 30 minutes to the Colosseum. You’re in the beating heart of Rome and there’s simply no better place to be than in La Mia Casa in my opinion. Grazie, Cosimo, for helping to create memories that will live four lifetimes.

If there isn’t a level above super host there should be for Cosimo! During our trip his communication has been fantastic and quick. The apartment is very cozy and a great place to hang out. There are a couple of different bus lines within a short walk from the apartment which made it easy and affordable to get anywhere in the city. Cosimo welcomed us to the unit with pizza when we arrived and left some pastries for the following morning. Early in the trip we asked about using the fireplace and he brought more wood even though there was wood already there. A couple of days later I asked where I could buy more wood and once again he dropped off more bags of wood. On our last full day in Rome our daughter fell and needed medical attention. Cosimo happened to be in the area and helped facilitate the ambulance. He walked with me to the hospital and was my liaison with the staff. He stayed with me all day while we waited to hear news for our daughter. Luckily she didn’t break anything and we would still make our flight home the following morning. I can honestly say our trip would not have been as memorable if we had stayed somewhere else. If Cosimo’s place is available, book it so you don’t miss out on the best place to stay in Rome!

We stayed at Cosimo’s place for a week, and we were really sad to leave. This is by far the best place we have rented on Air BnB, and you will be hard pressed to find a better place on Rome. The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere, from the major monuments to the charming Trastevere quarter. But honestly the apartment is so beautiful that you may not want to leave. You have a breathtaking view of Rome from every window, the terrace is to die for and the entire place is simply and tastefully decorated. You will also have everything you will need for your stay, including a perfectly equipped kitchen. Finally Cosimo is an amazing host. Excellent communication and always available. We hope we will have a chance to stay at this place again.

First of all, Cosimo was a truly outstanding host! From the moment we entered Rome in our car, Cosimo was helping us navigate safely to his apartment (yep…we figured we’d drive in Rome, which wasn’t a good idea). He graciously helped us find a parking garage for us to unload our luggage and get settled in to his beautiful apartment. The apartment was immaculate and spacious…it easily accommodated the four of us, and could certainly host 6 comfortably. The rooftop deck was a perfect sanctuary to relax after long days of walking the city. The location of the apartment is in the best area for top-quality restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it to anyone interested in exploring Rome. Thank you so very much Cosimo for all your help…we will certainly be back!

Definitely one of the best apartments we’ve ever been in! Location is wonderful, just between Campo di Fiori and Trastevere (piazza Trilusa) and near the famous Roscioli bakery. Apartment is nicely decorated, spacious, very well furnished and equipped with all amenities. Owner was so gracious and helpful. He even prepared booklets with recommendations for dining, Gelato and caffè. Ang the real gem : an Amazing rooftop equipped with a barbeque and wonderful view. Hope to come back soon!

Cosomos Wohnung ist einfach wunderbar, gleich um die Ecke von der Piazza Navona und Campo de Fiori. Über den Dächern von Rom mit fantastischen Blick, großartiger Terrasse, drei vollwertigen Schlafzimmern Und ebenso vielen Bädern. Alles aufs beste ausgestattet und von Cosimo liebevoll gestaltet. Perfekte Organisation, sehr gut ausgearbeitete Tipps. Eine voll ausgestattete Küche, Ein richtiges zu Hause in Rom. Es hätte nicht schöner sein können. Wir kommen wieder!
